Joey Hernandez is an alumna of the team and a close friend of Kendra's. Last year, she was diagnosed with cancer. Every year the alumni of the team choose a costume theme for Kendra's Race, and this year it is "Wigging out with Joey", and everyone will be wearing wigs.
